By using BookThread ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Service Description

BookThread is a personal book journal and reading tracker that lets you manage your book library, track reading progress, capture notes and highlights, and set reading goals.

Your Account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the app, including notes, highlights, and photos. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content back to you as part of the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Upload malicious content or code.

Service Availability

We strive to keep BookThread available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
